My Sixth week of teaching practice

            This week was really feeling bored .On Monday our third semester                  examination was ended. Teaching practice started on Tuesday.     

          On Tuesday we had no duty because students started their Christmas                     examination.

                   So I feel bored. Then I wrote lesson plans. 

        On Wednesday and Thursday I had no job so I prepared some teaching              aids. On Friday i had no class.

                                                                                                                                                This week was really I not good for me. I feel bored.                                    

                         MY FIFTH WEEK OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE

         This week successfully I completed my Fifth week of teaching practice. On Wednesday I had fourth period in 8 c class. My Optional English teacher came for observation. I taught a new lesson ‘A Day in the Country’.  At first I introduced the author and showed the picture of author. Then I explained the story and showed the pictures of difficult words. They identified the meanings of pictures. I did group activities made them sit in groups and did those activities. After my class teacher pointed out my mistakes and gave some advice to improve my class. 

                I got extra periods in 8c class. So I finished all the portions for Christmas         examination and made them to sit in group and do all those activities in textbook.

    My students impressed by obeying me. They sincerely did their works. They had an improvement in their studies On Tuesday it was a holiday. So I studied for my third semester examination. On Friday I have conducted an examination and some students asked lot of doubts to me. Students tried their best in examination and I got lot of free hours in this week. I went there and they make noises I probably shout to them silent.

                       Overall this week was really Wonderful experience for me. I would like to improve my teaching to make my students love my class. This week there was a inauguration of Haritha  keralam project in our school. The  Ward member was inaugurated the function and she gave some vegetable seed for farming in school.

                         MY FOURTH WEEK OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE

                This week was really good experience for me. I completed my lessons and            started revision. My students impressed by obeying me. They sincerely did their                 revision. They had an improvement in their studies and developed their

          studying habits some students talk and they disturbed my class.

           But I managed them by giving punishment.

                      On Monday it was a holiday. So I wrote lesson plan. On Wednesday I                      had second and seventh period in 8 c class. In that day I have conducted an    

               examination and some students asked lot of doubts to me.  

             Students tried their best in examination and I got lot of free hours in this week.

               I went there and they make noises I probably shout to them silent.

                       Overall this week was good for me. I would like to improve my teaching                strategies to make my students love my class.

THIRD WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE




       This week really good for me. because i enjoyed with my students. In my class some students talk and disturbed other students. But i managed them by giving activities. On Wednesday there was a blood donation campaign conducted by higher secondary school students . Our teachers donated blood.The Campaign was really successful.
                               This week i got lots of free hours.I went there and the students are making noise. If they make noise i probably shout and make them silent. On wednesday  our  English teacher came for observation. I had second period in 8c class. i went  my class and i taught a new story" The Nightingale and the Rose". First of all i showed a video related to this chapter. Then i showed some pictures of nightingale. students enjoyed it and i managed the well. After my class teacher  pointed out my mistakes and gave feedback.
                                       Overall this week was beautiful for me. I would like to improve my classrroom management skill to make my students love my class.

                         MY SECOND WEEK TEACHING EXPERIENCE

     This week really amazing experience for me. I enjoyed a lot and my students      impressed me by obeying me. They sincerely did their works. They had an improvement in their studies and developed their reading habits..

                      On Monday it was children’s day and there were Assembly and the prize of youth festival was distributed by headmistress. The program was really good and I got lot of free hours. I went there and they make noises I probably shout to them silent.

                         Overall this week was good for me. I would like to improve my teaching to make my students love my class.

FIRST WEEK[11- 11-2016]

               This is the first week of my teaching practice.  I reached the school at 8.55 am. At 9.30 the bell rang for prayer. I had no class. So I wrote lesson plan .Then I made some activity cards and puzzles for my students for further classes. After that I prepared teaching aids. 

       This week I did not feel good because I did not get enough time to interact with my students. The bell rang at 12.30pm.  The school was closed at noon.  I go back to home. This week was an unforgettable  for me. 

Day-2[ 10- 11-2016]

        Today was the second day in the school. It was really good day. I reached the school at 8.50am. At 9.30 the bell rang for prayer. I had class at fourth period. So I wrote lesson plan till 12pm. Then I made some activity cards that I can give it to my students. I went to 8 class in fourth period. I was really happy to see my students because it’s my first teaching class. At first I asked some questions to the students. They answered well. After that I asked them to take an open their textbook .

             Today I taught a new Poem. First of all I showed them picture of author and explained his profile. I wrote the poem title in blackboard. I took  class ‘ Song of the Flower’ by Khalil Gibran. They sit interestingly I read the song and explained it detailed. I asked them to read the poem silently and underline the difficult words . Then I was explained the meaning with the help of teaching aids.  I made them to do the discourse. And I asked one student to read it. He read well. At the end of the class I asked some question to them. They answered correctly. I Appreciate them. I gave them assignment when my class was over.

                         It was an amazing teaching experience that I was really impressed by my students. The main problem in this school was we didn’t  had a correct place to sit.  But later they gave an auditorium.  I  returned home after 3. 30pm .Today was really a good day for me.
                                   

REFLECTIVE JOURNAL

                              Day -1 [9-11-2016]

                      My fourth semester teaching practice started in November 9 Wednesday. Today was the first day in the school Govt. Model H.S.S Chavadinada. I reached the school at 8.45 am. The school begins at 9.30am. last until 3.30pm. we were 10 teacher trainees assigned in this school. All the student teachers reached school at correct time. we sigh the attendance register and l didn't get the timetable when i came this school to ask permission. Later my English teacher came and gave the time table. I got the class 8.c. Its a Malayalam medium class.

                                At first bell rang at 9.30 for prayer. me and my colleagues didn't get any classroom to settle down and that why we waited so long in front of the office room. Then later we got auditorium to settle down. I felt comfortable and its a large room. I had second period in the 8.C class. I entered the class . A teacher introduced me to the students. Didn't take the class but  i introducing myself to the students. And  i asked them to introduces them self. There are 42 students in this class.

                      Later i asked them to write something interesting about them and the class ended at 10.40am. After the class i wrote lesson plans . After the lunch  I got extra class in 9.c class. I spent time with students . I gave some funny questions to students. At 3.30pm the bell rang for national anthem. I go back to my home.
